The sad thing about working for yourself.

The weekends don't mean quite so much. Except, you get to hang out with your friends that have 9-5 jobs.

baddog 07-17-2004 07:03 AM

I hear you. And the sad thing about working for yourself AT HOME is that you never get to drive home from work and leave it all behind you.

I have to leave home to leave work.

loverboy 07-17-2004 08:40 AM

not really a luxury i have right now

Cheers,

Dagwolf 07-17-2004 10:55 AM

I'm taking the day off and going to the beach with the family. As soon as the laundry's done (shorts and towels). It's gonna be a hot one today.

graphicsbytia 07-17-2004 10:57 AM

FUCKuPAYme 07-17-2004 10:59 AM

everyday is a weekend for me. but it took me 3 years of not having a weekend to enjoy

jade_dragon 07-17-2004 11:00 AM

Ohhhh YEAH the weekend, you know guys, when any real world business connections' you have productivity drops because people need "time off", you know the time when everything closes early if you are not in NY or Cali.

Glad to see I am not the only one with a warped sense of time, I have guess I could use calanders and clocks to keep on the same time frame as the "norms" but that would take to much effort.

riosluts 07-17-2004 11:00 AM

and when your a webmaster. Everyday can be a weekend for you

Tala 07-17-2004 11:02 AM

What is this weekend you speak of? :helpme

boneprone 07-17-2004 12:11 PM

You are looking from this at the wrong perspective bro.

When you work for yourself, everyday is a weekend.

you are still new at this.

Give it some time and you'll see things much more clear as time goes on.

wyldblyss 07-17-2004 12:13 PM

Ok, what exactly is this weekend thing you are speaking of? I have no idea what you are talking about and I think I'm getting scammed here because I never get one.

Exactly..

Everyday is a weekend.

Just like a weekend, you are free everyday to do whatever you want when ever you want.

U can catch up on projects, take a long break, go for a walk, go out of town (take the laptop) what ever.

You just need to step out of the box for a moment and look around. Its better than you think.

Freedom is a good thing. Being your own boss is the best goft our Lord Jesus has given us.

Jesus Loves the BP4L. You will see. He too will bless you.
Just be sure to do the hand sign as you pray and all will be well.

Neither did I, but then I realized it must be that time when I go to bed.
