She's doing 5 months of house arrest.

Otherwise known as "VACATION". She has a bitchin house, and some servants to cook and clean for her. Heck she can do her show from her kitchen.

She was quoted as few weeks ago as say that she would not be serving time in prison and was making plans for her new show.

I read this yesterday
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5444565/

My bad... but...

Stewart, who was also ordered to spend five months confined to her home and fined $30,000, was allowed to remain free pending appeal. The sentence was the minimum possible under federal guidelines.

I think she did not get what she deserved and so did 65 percent of the 221,000 MSN pollsters.
:2 cents:

It's a damned shame. We need to get vicious criminals like Martha "Not a Good Thing" Stewart off the streets and into our overcrowded prison system every chance we get. Every second that she's free to wander around her own home, she might be devising new and more devious ways to stash one's keys. And with her media access, it's just a matter of months before she passes her evil knowledge on to the unwashed American masses.

Make no mistake: insider trading threatens the very roots of the American way of life. Just ask Ken Lay. He's going to have a very hard time buying the President this year.

Stewart was convicted of a lying about a crime the proscution can't prove, by their won admidtion.
if that stands then your webmaster ass is next !!!!
