Whats up with all these Phillipino Outsourcing companies
 

I posted on GFY for designers needed and IM getting bombarded by tons of Outsourcing this and Outsourcing that... then I respond to one guy and they send me to another guy and that guy sends me to another guy... then I see samples of the work finally and its horrible. Are they teaching the 8 and 9 year old kids design work . Is there like a Web Design Sweatshop out there or something. ?? Jesus.

i have a friend in college who is now working for one of these outsourcing companies here in the PH ... from what i heard from him, these outsourcing companies' gimmicks are that they refer to their employees as trainees and giving them below minimum wage and whats worse is that most of their employees are first timers when it comes to graphic editing and design.

**NOTE THOUGH THAT IM NOT TALKING IN GENERAL. THERE ARE SOME OF THEM THAT ARE ACTUALLY GOOD AT THEIR STUFFS**

How else can Dr Dre up his post count?

It basically comes down to the point that if you want good work done then you have to be prepared to pay a reasonable price.

If you look back over the last few days you will see posts from people who have tried the outsourcing route with graphics and other stuff and have been very unhappy with the result.

The bottom line is that if you want to make money then you have to spend it and about the only place outsourcing works is in customer service.

Was like working my way through the cast of the little rascals today. I swear I was fowarded to 4 different people today.
