The back ground of main tables isn't black, it's a dark gray, 2 tone. If you are seeing black your monitor is set to dark or really cheap.

Oh I don't think it looks good and the colors are hard on the eyes no doubt.

The comment made though was people could not see the links, meaning the bg of the table looks black to them, when it's not black.

well, actually I was not talking about on the Table of Contents pages, I was referring to when you were in the thread itself
