Hi Guys,

Just wanted to give you a bit of our side. Not that it looks like it's all that necessary, because a lot of you are already supporting us.

The deal with our model - was for 15% of profit (defined in the contract). It was signed when she was still living in Indiana, in august of last year. We agreed to a minimum of $250, a month to ensure she got something for her time and a Maximum of $5000. The site launched in December, so up until that point she only received the minimum. That changed in December. We basically gave her an open contract, which guaranteed her work. When she decided that she wanted to move out her and be more involved with the site - we committed to a 1 year deal.

The site is doing okay. We've still got 30-40 sets, waiting to be published so we'll be able to update for at least the next four months, regardless. At that point, I think we'll have over 100 sets, in the members area and probably well over 75 hosted galleries at that time.

I hope there is a way we can work this out ammicably. Regardless, we wish her the best of luck in whatever she chooses to do. And hope that she will honor our agreements.

As far as her comments on the other models. Nicole left the industry for personal reasons. And lauren is still happily involved with her site.

I bet there are 100's of deals like this in the biz all the time that never even make it to the spot lite.

anyone who has been in this buisness for a while understands so i wouldn't worry to much.

Exactly... I can never see someone run to the board, make a post about a company "screwing them over" and immediately draw conclusions.

There's just way to many variables to just believe someone who came crying. Maybe they tell the truth, maybe not. Most likely, we'll never know.

But I know Brett and Tim... I know they don't like things to come to light like this, but that doesn't mean they're shady. They're two of the most honest guys in the biz.

Does that mean I've made my conclusion? No. It means the opposite. It means that I know there's so much more to this then what was ever told to us by the model.

This was a great response from Brett, and I hope it all gets worked out without problems, and without a bunch of GFY people all drawing flawed conclusions about them.

Well, it is very nice to see such a professional response to the situation. I respect any company that does not lash out, but states their side as they see it without resorting to insults.

I hope you are able to work things out so both parties are happy.

I dont know but like I said in the other thred if you lose model's for any reason even personal reasons then your not doing something right!

Sorry to be harsh, but my god. Please show us the list of models (aka drama queens for the most part) that you deal with on a regular basis. I venture to say that I had more experience with it today, then you have had in your life.

I obviously dont know the details but have know brett and tim for a good while. I cant see them intentionally screwing anyone over let alone talent.
