Miller, 36, was chased by police from South Los Angeles to Compton after he was spotted running a red light in a reportedly stolen car, officers said. Television news helicopters broadcast footage of him being kicked and repeatedly struck with a metal flashlight after he had apparently surrendered and was on the ground. Miller has filed a $25 million claim with the city over the beating he contends left him with brain damage .

Does this happen in other countries or just the US?

but he didn't... that doesn't warrant a beating. in most states all you need is a HS diaploma or GED to become a cop. that's not saying much. cops have can't break the law themselves. good example would be here in atlanta recently a cop arrested a woman and then raped her. the chances of him getting off and the community and dept blaming the woman for what happen is probably what will happen.

I have heard if they pull you over and they think you are drunk they ask you to blow or give blood, if you do not then they will draw blood from you in the most convenient way such as broken nose. If police are still doing this and getting caught every so often, how many times can we guess this happens over all? Why risk itk, if you get caught on tape you are owned. I wonder how much shit people who get busted for this type of thing get from the public who recognizes them. I think the police should have to pay for it with garnished wages and a manditory work schedule by court order, not the tax payers, they did not choose the police officers of their community so why should they have to pay for their mistakes?

If you steal a car you get the death penalty? So then whether you get beat or not you can't sue cause you are on death row.

If you dont want cops beating on people then you need to make the punishment more severe. Then the nigga would have never stole that car.
