Do TGP's really sell for 3 months income?

I always read TGP's sell for 3 months income, is that really the case?
Certainly i am not talking about the biggest and most established ones, just the new thumbs TGP's, but with stable traffic.

So can i really spend $10k and get a site making me $3k per month?

Not only that, but ther person who sells you the TGP may open a new one and take the traffic with him! so be careful buying!

3 months sounds about right to me! depending on the time they have been in business! Only the very well established ones are worth more!:2 cents:

shemp formula.... (use at your own risk)

divide the gross monthly income by the average number of daily unique visitors..... if the result is .07 or higher, then you have something worthwhile....

It's different. Some go for much less and some go for a lot more.

I'm selling a small 70k TGP at the moment and it's only to get rid of it I'm selling it so it will probaly go for less than it's worth. It's killing the server and there are already 160 sites on that box.

When buying such TGPs you have to take a good look at it and analyze how it's set up, how it's making money (both primary and secondary sponsors), and if you got the time to run it.

I was wondering the same thing, even if you hire some solid gfyer to do updates and maintance for you and when you take BW into account, the expenses can't really exceed anymore than $1k... so you are left with $2k profit, and you don't do anything at all... Where is the catch?

thanks for sharing your magic formula....i guess i should send a PM to admins to ask them if you were joking, but this time i feel you weren't since your formula makes sence :winkwink:

But all the 100k thumb preview tgp's that make like $2k per month, would have a far less result than .07 but they still make some money and i think the 3 month formula applies to them...
