Sad Comment on our School System
 

So, I go to Tim Horton?s for a quick bite today, and the bill comes to $3.63. I think I have exact change, but I am a bit short. The cashier is a bit ahead of me, and she enters my payment as $3.63.

Instead, I hand her 13 cents plus a $5.00 bill.

She calls over another cashier to ask him to help her determine the amount of my change.

He is unable to do so.

I explain to her how to figure it out, but I think she just trusted me??

that.......is sad.

Doesn't say a whole for the parents of these kids either.
I help quite abit at my kids school throughout the year, and the amount of parents that don't give a shit is staggering. In fact the problem starts at home imo.
Teachers lack authority/manpower to get all the kids in proper form. If the parents don't send the kids to school ready to learn, the school has no chance.

Yes, schooling could be better. But PARENTS(or lack thereof) is the real problem.
