How often do you touch your floppy?
 

Floppy disc that is. Just realized its been forever since I've had a need to use a floppy disc. When do you figure they will phase them out of new pc's? Seems like old tech that should have been replaced by now.

umm maybe 5 years ago. I still have mine just incase i need to use a boot disk

Dell doesn't even offer one unless you ask for it. Either that or they make you get one because you order a machine with raid. (read those fuckers).

I have not used one in years though.

I don't think I have ever used the one on this laptop..hell, not even sure it has one...see a little hole, but it looks to be too small. On my main computer....it has been years since I used it.

i just found a floppy drive in my garage this morning and threw it out. i dont think i will have a need for it anymore. will i?

I don't have one... but my case a slot for it.

I just hope that one day when Im drunk I don't try to stick a disk in...
