How do I stop itching from a sunburn?

For the love of God, someone help...can't sleep...slight sunburn everywhere is making me itch like crazy. Have tried aloe, lotion, cortizone...

GOING INSANE

I can not stand the itch more than anything I can handle the burn, but the itch is crazy insane...

It seems to me once the itch phase starts if I do NOT put lotion on it is better, and I wear a white cotton t-shirt... after a long shower, seems to help.....

but everyone is different...

Take some benadryl if you have it.

Well not sure it would help in this case, but do you have any antihistamine around?
Like allegra or something.
It helps itchiness, due to allergies may help that too.

All I have is Ibuprofen, which I took about 15 minutes ago. Hmm.

Yes, that will help also..

With me once the itching starts,
I have to stop all the aloe and lotions, it only makes it worse....

Ok I am off to bed,
Peace
