it's legally required to have the 5 sec delay after the whole superbowl thing I think. So nothing else like that happens.

all satelite uplinks have a 9 or 11 second delay on live broadcasts for this very reason as well as to cut off shows if something violent hapens on a live newscast or remote report. Common knowledge

I find people amusing who truly think that these shows are broadcast on a "as it happens" basis.

Hell, they could make a 24 hour delay if they wanted, who would know?
