Which car would you choose?
 

I'm thinking about getting a new car next year. Don't wanna spend too much on it so here are the current choices i think are ok:

Nissan 350Z
Mazda RX-8
Subaru WRX STi
Chrysler Crossfire
Mustang GT convertible
Volvo S40 Turbo
Pontiac GTO (If they even sell them in canada)
Acura TL (may be on the expensive side, not sure yet)
Dodge SRT-4
G35 Coupe
Honda S2000 (once again a bit on the expensive side)

Bare in mind we have winters here in MTL, tho i've had sports cars in the snow before so i don't mind it that much

Honda s2000 ! Ive been looking at this car all week. Think I might get one within the month. 50/50 weight balance. 240hp 0-60 in 5.7 1/4 ~ 14 seconds. convertable, 6 spd only

sweet ride for the money. Also ranked most dependable premium sports car

Why not the 350Z?

Pick up a bimmer ' 02 M roadster same price now I think maybe a bit more but better/faster car. I should know I still own mine get thumbs up and head turners everywhere.

out of all those. The best car is the HONDA S2000. Thats the best sports car ever.

It costs as much as any 2 of the above cars

You ever drive it? Its a turd. Need to rev it like a motor cycle. Was very unimpressed. I guess for the money its cool but hey its a fuckin honda.

I'd go with the S2000, and then get the comptech supercharger for it. Beef up the suspension, 9000 rpm on a mountain road? YES PLEASE.

Like I said, supercharge the s2000 and it will make up for its lack of torque.

I'd go with the STi, the 2005's are slick. S2000 makes me yawn, get away from Honda people and get a real vehicle.

Also, non all wheel drive, you have the option of the Saturn Redline (yes Saturn).

Is it because people refuse to aknowledge that "shitty little honda's" are so much more popular than whaty they drive?

I for one don't care if they were more popluar than what I drive. It seems like ton's of people in this industy drive an M3, that doesn't make me want to go out and buy one/hate one.

From that list... S2000, then I'd go for a 350z, STI

thing with cars is that geography is different

if he was in california, he should get something like a convertible

but we have winters.. which is cold and icy, so why not have an awesome car in the winter.

2004 Mustang Mach 1.

210 HP for $24k. Pretty much will beat any car on that list, and for less $$$. Hurry though - They don't make them any more!

Don't care about snow or practicality? Get a Lotus Elise and make the Honda S2000 owners look stupid :thumbsup

NSX is an acura/nissan ya dip, and there not that fast they only have 240hp.

Acura is the "premium" division of Honda, invented in the hope that vain Americans wouldn't realise they were the same company. Looks like it worked...

Around the rest of the world it's a Honda NSX - in the US it's an Acura NSX...

Isn't the 2004 Mach 1 supposed to be 305 HP?

NSX may eat an 84 Corvette.

The S2000s engine is already set up to get maximum power out of it, supercharging it doesn't add much (gives it almost as much power as a 97-04 Corvette, but still half the torque)

In a drag race, the NSX wouldn't stand a chance. On a road with plenty of corners the 'Vette wouldn't stand a chance.

Good call there. As it was pointed out, Honda manufactures Acuras.

Dildozer, if you're buying the car next year, wait for the new Mustang '05. It's gorgeous, powerful and inexpensive.

change the stang mach 1 or gt to an svt cobra and there's no competition on that list.

get the new Subaru, i owned the WRX 3 and it was a great ride, perfect for going in the snow aswell, very fun and powerful to drive - the STI is even more powerful :)

Hate FWD and AWD, but the RWD cars you have posted are less than inspiring...

No Bimmers on the list? :(
