Pheromones
I recently finished reading the book by Robert Heinlein - "To Sail Beyond the Sunset" in which the main character, Maureen, exudes more than her fair share of pheromones. Her father advised her she should wash more often as in those times bathing was done far less frequently than now so as to not get herself in any nasty rape situations.
I also had/have the same "problem" and it was a constant issue when I was younger (I was very precocious). I suppose it still is now. Generally, men love the way I smell and I have to admit, I can turn myself on pretty good too :winkwink: My question is, why has society given in to the demands of religious attitude towards sex? As a whole, in marketing and the way people are trained to think AGAINST sex and especially the way women (and men) smell; makes people think that "spring fresh" is the way to be. In my opinion, if you keep clean and have the privilege to attract the opposite sex with merely your own scent you should be proud of that! The perfume industry has been trying to duplicate it for years! Since when do men get a hard-on walking through a field of flowers? What are your thoughts? Do you prefer a woman/man to smell natural or would you rather her douche 3 times and scrub her/himself raw with a bar of dial? |

Ok guys, there is a difference between CHEESE and PHEROMONES!
Like if you were to take a wiff of a $5 crack ho or smell the skin of your lover first thing in the morning or during sex... There's a difference! Main Entry: pher·o·mone Pronunciation: 'fer-&-"mOn Function: noun Etymology: International Scientific Vocabulary phero- (from Greek pherein to carry) + -mone (as in hormone) -- more at BEAR : a chemical substance that is produced by an animal and serves especially as a stimulus to other individuals of the same species for one or more behavioral responses - pher·o·mon·al /"fer-&-'mO-n&l/ adjective ~~~~~~~~ Main Entry: ran·cid Pronunciation: 'ran(t)-s&d Function: adjective Etymology: Latin rancidus, from rancEre to be rancid 1 : having a rank smell or taste 2 : OFFENSIVE - ran·cid·i·ty /ran-'si-d&-tE/ noun - ran·cid·ness /'ran(t)-s&d-n&s/ noun |
