Bye Bye Derek Fisher
While the Lakers got the most important member of their starting five back on Thursday, they also lost one of their clutchest playoff performers. Point guard Derek Fisher agreed to a six-year, $37 million deal with the Golden State Warriors, agent Mark Bartelstein told ESPN Insider Chad Ford. The deal is for the Warriors full mid-level exception.

Cant blame fish for jumping on that regardless if he is sitting the bench

WAY too much money for Derek Fisher, he's a gamer but he's a poor excuse for a starting point guard in the NBA. All the Lakers including Kobe benefited from having a 370 pound man mountain named Shaq on the floor with them.
Kobe Bryant is going to find out what it feels to be Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady, double and triple teams at every turn. |
37mill is pretty high for derek, kinda surprises me.
Now I have to figure out what to do with derekfisher.com :) |
oh well, they signed kobe :)

Man oh man-
Shaq and Derek gone... Rebuilding time. I am always going to be a Laker fan- of course I root on my hometown Cavs, but now without Boozer- Lebron and Ilgauskas are going to have to step it up! |
too bad :( it's all about money not the sport

It is too much for that slug, but maybe it's good sign for the Warriers?
