It's 7,45$ here in Quebec (5,62 USD)

Minimum wage is $6.85 Canadian here.
At todays exchange rate that equals $5.18 USD an hr.

A regular work week is 40 hrs so 5.18 x 40 x 4 = $828.8 a month

there are no minimum wage in norway but this is settled by each labor organization.. for instance, the minimum for a waiter (the lowest paid) is currently $12.79 + overtime from 21-01 and even more for weekends...

$4 is just sad..

In my country minimum wage is $135 for a month of work...that includes saturdays!!:(

I don't live there, but as pathetic as that sounds the cost of living is so much cheaper there.....

in Ukraine minumim wage about $68/m
majority people in capital, Kiev, make about $100/m
for $500/m you can live without worries, $1000/m - big pimping

real estate is blooming (20-30% anually). in Kiev - 1bdrm apartments in new buildings go from 50k USD and up around center. downtown - 100k and up.

i travel there one-two times a year.

they need to boost min wage or else soon no one will be able to afford shit..its bad enuff working at mcdonalds with a family doesnt even pay rent..Or if you can pay rent then u can buy anything else

And if that was all I made, I wouldn't be able to afford rent, much less anything else.
