Massive Spam sent from my email
 

A friend of mine contacted me this morning asking why I sent him 14 of the same Email promoting bang videos.com He even just contacted me saying he just got 2 more, here is the details, I removed the email addresses of myself and the person who recieved it except for the "Delivered-To" it was already like that.

Is this a worm or is someone doing this somehow using my info?

If ny4.phatservers.com is a server then it's unlikely to be a worm, they'll usually come from dialup or cable addresses.

Unless you've been getting a shitload of bounces and complaints I wouldn't worry too much about it (yet)

BTW from the subject line it seems to suggest it's a webmaster email, soliciting people to join an affiliate program? If so, then follow it up with the program...

14 is not massive.

Wait until you get tens of thousands of bounced mails and angry letters because some spammer decides to use your domain as a return address to hit all of AOL.

Follow it up to the program ??? THey will just tell you its not them or something lol

the 14 at one time was to 1 person, that was at one time, he has continually recieved them since adn there are lots of people recieving them if its going to my contact list. You would think that would be commen sense.

WTF, I just got 30 of them myself to my email address from my email address...grrrrrr

now Im getting them to my other email addresses, So basically I am sitting here sending spam to myself.... somehow thats just funny, pissing me off but funny.

Apparently you know what I deal with ona daily basis. :(
