It is indescribable the feeling to finally be free! I know everyone?s feelings on companies like :ak47: Gain/Gator. Even though we only had one download with it and alternative free ones it was still a big PITA.

You guys got the best codec by far over there ... BUT you need to make it open source ... even thought its not streamable it would take over porn in a week probably

MPEG-LA fees cost a bundle, so I don't think we can go open source.

Just to float an idea out there though...

What if, just for adult content, we set up a program where we give away the tools, the codec, rights to promote using the divx name, instructions to ensure the content plays back on the tens of millions of DivX certified DVD players to the television, and set up affiliate programs so you can sell the DVD players to surfers?

I'm not saying we will, but if people were interested, we might be able to cook that up?
