Its not bullshit.. We had a big hacker get in and hijack some really large sites last summer. Im talking the 200,000 hits a day plus sites got hijacked for over a week..

Easy Pic, Pic Post, Absolute Series, Movies Gold, all got hijacked last summer..

And you know what, there was and nthere is nothing we can do about it.. The hijacker is from Turkey.

I was working with the guys at sextracker to try and get more info on him.. I was talking to the hijacker on Icq, and he wanted $$$ to hand the sites over. It took over a week for InterNic to trasfer the dominas back over to the rightful owners..

Ever since this, netowrksolutions has bumbed up its security, but these new domain registars are really easy for these pricks to hack into.

Dont think you are immuned.. If you are a big site you better be careful.. But if you are a small under 100,000 hit a day site you dont have to worry, he wouldnt waste his time..

Just dont take these threats lightly if you are a large site.
