Sponsors who steal other sponsors HTML and designs??

Here is a funny one,

OrgasmCash took the html from an old ARS site and didn't change the customer service link:

http://preview.moms1stgangbang.net/cs.html

The free trial customers link points to the ARS C/S page.

Can some one say chargebacks?

I found this out when I did a test sign up and when I tried to cancel I couldn't because the site doesn't belong to ARS.

Post some more!

What country are you in?

Seacow 07-15-2004 11:08 AM

Heh, that is funny.

To the point of the post, I think its just something you have to get used to.

I've worked for 5 or 6 years at an affiliate program, and I can honestly say that I've seen at least 85% of everything I've ever done stolen. Every designer, web developer, proprietor, and programmer in the industry sees the same thing.

Hell, there are companies past and present that seem to base their ENTIRE business plan on copying others' ideas. They sit around and wait for someone to release something new, and immediately begin work on copying it. But its not anything new, that is for certain. Ask any original designer, or program owner, or any one with new ideas in this industry, and I assure you each one of them will tell you that they expect whatever they do to be copied within days of completion.

Disclaimer: This is not directed towards OrgasmCash or anything, just a generic rant. That seems like a really odd page to copy in the first place. Its just the way it works in this industry unfortunately.

the only thing i think
maybe they both bought template from templatemonster.com

Seacow 07-15-2004 11:37 AM

Before anyone thinks of bashing PornKings, remember this is not the same as the original thread. That dose indeed look to be a template from one of the many template builders. But that is not a bad thing in and of itself.

There is nothing wrong with buying a template, that is what those companies do, build templates for people to buy legally. If the program is reputable and honest, and all the things we look for in an affiliate program, who cares??? At least its a pretty cool template, and they didn't steal it from someone else.

Umm, yeah, I guess you could call that a moral, but probably not the one that Nutella had in mind. :winkwink:
