Have you ever left GFY for a period of time and come back different?
 

Granted, I still squeezed a post in here or there, but for the most part, I was gone from Tuesday to Tuesday.

It's only a week.

And yet, here I sit, reading the board and making replies and somehow it all seems different to me. Like I have a very different outlook on it.

Is it just me?

I'm wearing different underwear than I was last time I was here.

it has happened to me just today. ive been off for 10 days and today when i come back to office i feel different... it is as if i switched off completely and now i see all this business different...

well, tomorrow ill be the same again!!!

Yup, when you're gone and come back after a while you realize that this board is pretty childish. I really just browse now and then to see if anything interesting about the industry has happend.

yeah, i usually take some cooldown months.. and when you get back you approach things different because youve learned
and gained some things in that period.

to see that ive actually grown and got experienced in

it takes me like a week after being away to get back into the GFY swing of things.....when i first get back it is VERY wierd though

same here, but after two days you're going to feel the same about GFY as before

i don't post nearly as much as i used to. i find i just can't take anything seriously enough on this board, to really get into any of the threads anymore, other than my own.

i read the 'drama' threads and all i can do is smile or chuckle.

Definately, I haven't posted for a time of 9 months..but I have been reading the boards. Too much has changed, competitions are no fun anymore because of the amount of ARS siggy whores that occured 2 months back, and people have no respect for eachother, which makes a lot of the people here look like babies.

things do seem different here after a bit of time off.

went away for 6 months last year
im still suffering shock at being back :glugglug
