seo for yahoo
 

well i've perfected getting listed in the top 20 at yahoo in under a week, but have yet to break 13. any yahoo seo tips or links?

my thoughts so far: big on meta, title, keyword use in copy, and kw use in url.

Yahoo doesn't like me for some reason but MSN does. Hopefully that will change in August though.

msn and yahoo seem to really like me, but google uses me as its personal toilet. :(

google is the hardest of all the SE's to get listed high because of what you need to do for good optimization...

Thought MSN didn't allow submitting of porn sites. Don't get it since they list porn :)

I am getting search engine hits from MSN. Not much but more than any of the other search engines.

Dont know how important it is, but Yahoo has pagerank too. Heres a site to find Yahoo PR. The Google tools are pretty cool for finding PR as well.

google loves me totally .. we have a great elationship , yahoo is okay sometimes but doesnt send out as much traffic as google does

top 20 is lame
I can get you at least in the top 10 on really big keywords
top 5+ on everything else you want

yahoo is not hard to get such ranks within 2 days

yup, yahoo is easy, google is mad difficult

google's not hard, but it does take more work

takes alot more good content to get listed on google, and definitely takes longer to make first page.

but i've got google down, haven't been able to find any decent yahoo resources

I find yahoo the easiest
keywords in url is important.
key1-key2.com is sure to get you a listing, better than key1key2.com

I agree... As far as yahoo goes, I have a good amount of listings. I must agree with the rest of the board though... My good yahoo listings are not so good on google. My good google listings are not so good on yahoo. So I have now decided to split the ones that are doing well in their repective SERPS and refer to them as my yahoo or google set of domains.

Then I have some that are in the grey area as far as being page to and three in both. Those are the ones I am trying to balance between the two.
