Why Do Some Sponsors seem to vanish from the boards ?
 

Why Do Some Sponsors seem to vanish from the boards ? Their obviously still in business but they have no presence on the boards anymore. (i.e.) maxcash.com or fatpockets.com aka djproductions. Why is that do you think ?

Because they:

shave
don't pay webmasters/models, etc
have unlicenced content
shut down by their cc processor
haven't come out with anything new

sometimes you platue on a place, and need to explore expanding your horizons.... allowing an evolvement to take place.

You could just email them and ask, then come back here and tell us what they say.

yeah i think there are a number of reasons. I heard that topbucks employees aren't required to post cuz don ho doesn't really see it as a significant source of traffic. I could be totally wrong but thats what i heard.

I think they are old and established and are happy with the affiliates they have. Plus maxcash does a vegas party every year that gets their name out there.

I know several sponsors that run great operations and have virtually no board presence, just like I know several webmasters that are very successful with no board presence.

Board presence != honesty, integrity.

I'm speaking of the scammers... not the solid companys. I would list the scammers but we know who they are

I don't think message board presence has anything to do with the integrity of a sponsor program. Some choose to take time to post and some don't. Board posting can be time consuming and some choose to focus their time & efforts elsewhere.

They probably want to keep their name out of all the bs and drama surrounding boards
