ive wasted an entire day waiting for a fucking tow truck to pick up my damn car.

going outside every 10 minutes waiting, i called 4 times each time they told me it was on its way..

i call an hour ago and they say they have some contract with the highway patrol and have to take care of them first regardless of who called first.. yeah i call bullshit on that.

so finally i call back and tell them to cancel, ive already had to call off work cuzz of these fucks.. and the lady says fine and hangs up..

calls back 5 minutes later letting me know the driver will be here any minute.. i told her forget it, ive waited 5 hours and they've been telling me the same thing all along.

she then has the nerve to say "fine, ill let the driver know, but he wont be happy about it"

god damn, a whole fucking waste of a day, all they had to do was let me know they would be running late instead of lying their asses off to me the WHOLE fucking day..

It sucks when people wont do their job. A simple phone call to say when...I hear ya.

most tow truck companies must respond within 15 to 20 mins when the highway patrol calls.

however theres no excuse for a 5 hr delay, i woulda called someone else after 45 minutes

as much as they drive around finding people, it would seem as if they could get it together a little better, dont ya think?

Concrete companies are the same way. I used to own a construction company here in georgia that did foundations for houses and we waited on a concrete truck for 12 hours one day, and the sad part was we were so close to the plant we could see the top of the mixing tower from the lot we were working on.

After several calls and several promises that "hes on his way" I went to their office and told them to shove it up there ass, closed my account with them, and went to their competitors who got it done the very next morning.

But it cost me. I basically paid a crew of 4 people $100 dollars a piece to sit for 12 hours and do nothing, and still got delayed and had to pay them for coming back the next day.

It is a tow truck ...you could have left instructions with dispatch if you wanted it at a specific place...you didn't need to wait at all.
