Are they growning out? If they are growing out when you get them re-done have them use a thicker gauge.

I forgot to mention the 14 g. tongue I had. Miss that one, too, but my teeth were getting fucked up, so I chose to remove it. :glugglug

I want to get my belly button pierced. I already did a lot of research and know it takes a long time to heal and all, but does it hurt a lot? I mean, is the pain comparable to getting a shot of Novocaine at the dentists, or is it a bit more or worse? Anyone that had it pierced please post what the pain is "comparable" to so I know what to expect.

I especially love the "dangling" belly button rinngs, or ones that look "jewelled". I was bored and surfing thumb preview tgp's the other day and checking out the belly button rings, I noticed a lot of porn chicks have them. I just want to get one because I think it looks super hot and sexy and I want to do something daring!!
Also I think it looks hot when I show my stomach to have a belly button ring, it gives it that special "oomph", "bad girl look" . haha

But what about the pain? And can I wear a dangling one right away once they pierce it, or can they only pierce a regular barbell in?

From what I understand, the pain really isn't that bad. I've seen complete chickenshits get it done without so much as a whimper.

However, as with any piercing, you must leave the jewelry in for at least 8 weeks. No, you can't wear danglies until after the piercing heals because they're heavier than regular barbells or rings (you can choose which to get at the time of piercing), and may cause your bellybutton to reject the piercing, or the danglie itself may well migrate itself out.

I have had my belly button pierced for 9 years. It hurt a little like a needle was sticking in it for a couple days. It didnt heal completely for 6 months. I have read some recent studies on it and it turns out that the belly button is linked to a nerve that causes bitchiness and depression. So you are kind of screwed if you got it done back in the day as the affects last forever with scar tissue.

Nipples. More pain then pleasure but looks nice. :)

PhoGirl69: My navel has been pierced for 8 years, and I've never had a problem with it....it only hurt for like two seconds, I wanted to punch the guy in the face, but it healed nicely....it's not painful like when your hood is healing, geez, i took that out after a month. small delicate spot for stainless steel to be inserted in, for me anyway. But dont sweat the pain, my tattoos didn't even hurt me. Go for it, you only live once, and it IS sexy, even on men , which sounds strange but is very sexy. Well, some men can pull it off :winkwink:

i used to work in kitchens a lot, and eventually became a pastry chef, and did that for almost 4 years before deciding i HATED the amount of people that wanted food on a nightly basis, LOL...needless to say being a chef was another industry that was pretty open about appearance...as long as you could cook good, no one cared

I had my nipple pierced a few some 6 years ago but after 3 or 4 years got tired of it and just removed it.
