Some morality interest group led by an antiporn lawyer left-over from the raegan/bush administration is urging the Attorny General to sue Yahoo.... because it has been "trafficking obscene material".

Obscenity is illegal, Adult entertainment is not...and the line between the two is broad and grey. I don't suspect anything will come of it. The guy just saw a chance to get in the headlines. If it does...it'll definately suck for US sites.

It goes on to say that Yahoo-Geocities is profiting from the Ch*ldPornography and Yahoo needs to be investigated and prosecuted under child pornography statues.

Does anybody here think YaHoo is encouraging k*ddie porn? I have a hard time swallowing that that is part of their business plan. Or that they look the other way. I bet they do everything in their power to control it...

maybe i should write ashcroft how disney is peddling porn too. they own go.com and look at all the adult companies they are profiting from charging up to 50 cents per click in their search engine.
