Yesterday was Tom Ridge, today will be Treasury Secretary John Snow who will say that we require vigilance against any bid to weaken measures for investigating suspicious money transactions and that should be done by ensuring provisions of the Patriot Act renewed; in the first of an expected series of efforts to win renewal of key provisions of the Patriot Act, a centerpiece of the White House's war on terror and of President George W. Bush's election campaign.
