SEO Gurus - Best way to count backlinks?
What's the best way to compile a list of backlinks which is as
COMPREHENSIVE as possible to a domain or specific page? |
command is
link:"domainName" |
and if that doesnt work go to your dos pompt and type in the following...
format c: :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |
Quote:
:1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |

Using the "link:" command on Google only displays backlinks from pages with a strong PR3 or better. Yahoo's is more comprehensive, but is it the best?

I used to use
http://www.linkpopularitycheck.com and went by the msn count which did give the best back then but looking at it now i'm not sure its still the best. |
Between Google, Alexa and others you should determine most of your backlinks. Stat programs such as webalizer & awstats will reveal referrers that the engines dont pick up.
