Peta has a new forum, and they think all meat eaters should die!

Ok, I'm new here and have watched this site for a while. Big site I might add, but something bugs me about certain people and organizations. Peta is the biggest legal terrorist group in America today, or close too it. Anyways I have nothing against what they believe in, but I hate when they have to sue to get noticed. They are always pushing there agenda on us, and in there website they think they speak the vegan truth, whatever that means. Take a gander at what they are about, and post away. If you get banned just make up another e-mail address since they cannot ban ip address..
Have fun. And give them back what they give to the rest of us people. Headaches

Cheers

all they need is a really good beating to get them in line, preferably a couple minutes of clubbing them with 5 pounds of baby back ribs will shut them up for a while.

People are vegetarians for different reasons. I am a vegetarian but it is not about the "rights of animals" and I really don't care if someone eats a ton of meat although I would caution against it for health sake.

Do you know why more girls are sprouting breasts at 9 and 10 these days? It's from the steroids used to raise animals quickly for today's market. On top of that, anti-biotics used in farming are not cooked away. Ask any doctor about the problem with unneeded anti-biotics.

Morgan 07-13-2004 10:39 PM

I love animals.....

They're Delicious! :)

ps. I should go over there and start a ruckus... My family owns a wholesale meat company.

Okay, for fucks sakes man...... FINE... ALRIGHT....... I said that when the time comes I find something we agree on that I'd tell you.

I'm telling you.

I am a steak & lobster freak. If my favorite restaurant were still open I'd head over there right now, at almost 1 in the morning, and order me some...... just to show these peta fuckers a thing or two. Yeah, that's what I'd do.

Fuck vegetarianism.

Thing being a vegetarian is healthy? Think you'll live longer?

That cow I ate tonight was a vegetarian. And that cow sure as hell didn't look much alive anymore.

Eat your grassroots, tofu and vegecrap all you want, just don't be a fucking nazi about it to me.

mazman, welcome and :321GFY but for fuck's sake, don't go around and tell people to register on another board just to wreak havoc.

Closest thing I come to tofu is a garden burger. I eat pizza, chinese food, Taco Bell, Subway and all kinds of other goodies. I do eat occasional seafood, so technically I'm not 100% vegetarian.

My cholesterol level is low, my overall health is excellent and I haven't had a cold in 15 years (although nearly everyone else in my family catches at least one every year). Who's to say who will live longer. I could die in a car wreck next week but for my current days I am benefitting tremendously from my diet. As far as being nazi about it, you can eat pork fat sauteed in lard every day and it's no skin off my nose:glugglug

I call people like you passive vegetarians. As in, non-militant, non-judgemental. That is, if you're being 100% honest about this.

Many (not most) vegetarians and vegans ARE militant though. They lack the ability to just shut up and eat their rabbit food and be happy. They can't be satisfied with their own choice only, no. They feel the irresistable urge to crinkle their noses up whenever meat is served to others around them.

Bring out a turkey for the family at thanksgiving and the vegan is the one looking disgusted.

Out on a date with a vegetarian, order a steak and she get's all "Are you really going to eat that?" on you, upper lip all curled up in a sneer. Out come the comments like "You know that's dead animal flesh don't you?"... "that animal you're eating was murdered" etc..... that kind of shit.

Judgemental vegetarians like that need to be smacked upside the skull repeatedly.

I feel the same about every judgemental non-vegetarian.
I never try to make meat eating people feel guilty. Yet everytime I am in a restaurant and order a vegetarian plate I have to explain why I am a vegetarian. Often people dont respect this at all and start looking for things that dont add up. "So why are you wearing leather shoes" (I dont) or "You realize salades are alive as well"Or some morons start posting on an adultwebmasterboard about peoples believes on food. Peple wanna act all tough about their eating patterns. Well for you people I have some words. Go smoke a joint or a pig what ever you prefer. Chill down and then :321GFY

Quite honest. Not only do I not have a problem with what someone else eats, if they wish I will cook it for them (as long as they understand I'm not joining in:))

In fact, every once in awhile when I see full size beef ribs in small packs on sale I'll grab one up and broil it for my doggies. They love me so much when I do that:thumbsup

Yeeees, I agree there are judgemental people on both sides of the issue. The people you describe need a good cuffing upside the skull as well.

CDSmith 07-14-2004 09:36 AM

The hypocrisy of being a "selective vegetarian" or "judgemental meat eater" is one thing, but the real issue for me here are these PETA freaks who would love nothing more than to prevent everyone else from eating meat. They are against hunting, fishing, and some are even against having animals for pets. Some are so extreme-minded they would love to force you to let your dog/cat go free, several of them believe that the life of a gnat is worth just as much as that of a human.

Some of these extreme vegetarians are quite honestly insane.

FlyingIguana 07-14-2004 10:42 AM

don't they realize that for however long there's been life on earth animals have eaten other animals?

its the way things are meant to be, who are they to try and play god and say whats right and wrong in the way people eat

Tala 07-14-2004 10:47 AM

I don't hate vegans or vegetarians, (yes, there is a difference). To each his own. I love a bloody steak and snowcrab legs, but I'm respectful of the guy next to me who doesn't eat anything but bean sprouts and tofu with oil and vinegar dressing.

That said, anyone who is disrespectful of another's eating habits has serious issues. I give respect to you and your way of grazing, you give me the same for my way of grazing. Simple as that.

mardigras 07-14-2004 11:43 AM

I agree that the PETA extremists are bad, but I think more people are vegetarians for health reasons than activist reasons. It's just they're more visible because they get on TV for throwing paint on people's coats, releasing animals and other civil disobedience against others and their property.

If the comment:

The hypocrisy of being a "selective vegetarian"

was directed toward me I hardly see choosing the healthiest foods to be hipocritical. I don't eat meat because of the way it is brought to market. It's different than back in the days when a farmer would raise his own animals for meat. In order to keep up with the demand of today's society these animals must be raised in confined spaces which necessitates the use of steroids and antibiotics. I also don't eat "farm raised" fish for the same reason; you have no idea what someone is doing to ensure a big crop. At least with ocean seafood you only get what "contaminates" that mother nature allows. The risk of seafood that may have swam through nominal pollution is not as scary to me as the thought of eating all the junk farmers inject into the amimals to keep them resistant to diseases from confined quarters and grow faster & bigger than natural (fortunately I live in an area where I can know where my seafood comes from).

My friends are always wanting me to cook something and always carry on how they can't believe how hearty the meals are and that they didn't feel anything was missing. I enjoy cooking and am always whipping up something new.

Bean sprouts and tofu? Not in my kitchen!:glugglug

It wasn't, but good answer none-the-less.

It was directed to the point made about vegetarians who "try" to eat non-animal products, who promote the way of the vegetarian, yet conveniently overlook the products out there that they themselves use that use animal by-products.

As I said, there is some hypocrisy on both sides of the issue. There are meat eaters who care a great deal that animals are raised in confined quarters and shot full of all sorts of chems and injectibles to ward off diseases and promote growth etc, yet they continue to buy, cook, and wolf down great helpings of meat that came from that industry.

I'm guilty of it myself.

But I love meat. If I see some meat in the store that says it comes from animals that were raised free-range, and it's at least sensibly-priced, I would buy it.

By the way, have you seen some of the quotes from PETA members and officials on that board? I was quite amazed.

mardigras 07-14-2004 12:19 PM

I haven't read any PETA postings lately, but I'm sure they are saying the same ole same ole.

Nah, I don't have a problem with leather shoes. Someone ate the cow already:glugglug

phpslave 07-14-2004 12:34 PM

Peta calls anyone who doesn't post in support of Peta, Trolls.

I've never herd this term before but maybe i don't spend enough time on the boards.
