how do you transfer a domain to a new service
 

I'd like to get my domains off of godaddy...so, I'm sure its simple but I haven't done it before, how to transfer them to another service.

Also, I heard directnic.com is good...any comments?

Unlock them, then add a year at new registrar and transfer.
