pornguy 07-12-2004 12:33 PM

Boat store???

p1mpdogg 07-12-2004 12:34 PM

boats.com ?

is this a serious question? holy shit

Semi-Retired-Dave 07-12-2004 12:34 PM

Depending on what you want, I have a montery and it ran me about 80G's. I also had it custom painted. Do you want something in the 20,000 mark or more.

haha. close.

most boat sites claim to have new boat prices, so you go through a shitty search thing and find the boat you want, and then the price says "call for price" but there is no dealership associated with it

the closest boat dealer was the same way. wanted to talk about financing options before the price... i was there for a half hour and he couldn't give me a price

as far as I can tell, it's around where yours is minus the painting. chaparral signature 310 with the big engine. if it's more than 80 i'm probably going to go with the 290... but like I said, can't find any prices, and every time I submit for a quote there's no response

Best thing to do is find a boat manufactur you like then call the dealer.

That's the newer version of what I have.
This is mine after the paint job.

Sweet paint job!:thumbsup

Thanks, it was a lot cheaper then going out and paying for a 200,000 boat that looks just like it.

okny 07-12-2004 01:24 PM

google will answer all your questions, that's what it's there for, use it :winkwink:

You won't get much info online on boat prices. It is not like cars.

Manowar 07-12-2004 01:40 PM

Google is your friend.

No problem..i am a boater.. I know how hard the search for a real price can be....I had my last sailboat shipped in from quite far away because he was the only guy that would deal with me straight up. All I wanted to do was give someone money for a boat and it was a pain in the ass.

i hear you. i'd complain more but i think it's kind of funny to whine about how hard it is to buy a boat. :)

unfortunately, a little research shows that it was a serious question, as boats.com AND google turned out useless.

You get some info on the boat plus a price range near the bottom. :thumbsup

PersianKitty 07-12-2004 10:29 PM

I always say "If you have to ask the price, you can't afford it."
