How are we safer?
 

Fox News is obviously going to run clips of Bush's speech from this morning all day long.

The big point is that because of his actions America is safer than it was 3 years ago. Someone remind me what the terror alert was then...

Iraq certainly isn't safer than it was 3 years ago, the good of Sadaam being gone all considered.

3 years ago we didn't have daily reports of an imminent attack by a certain date.

We're not safer yet... at most we've just stuck the hole in the hornet's nest.

Airports have better security, but too bad they hired their security on discount and they are all incompetent.

i don't think anybody's safer now than before. we just increased the numbers of haters in the world with all this war and all. And now, admiting to the world that the report was wrong. what do you expect those fanatics are feeling right now? elated? i don't think so, but more eager and determined to get even or even surpass the terror the US-led coalition made in their country.:2 cents:

Some people are calling for the abolishment of the color coded warning system already. It's useless. It'll never be blue or green. And they'll come out scaring us with "nothing specific" each and every month I would almost bet you, yet NOT raise it to orange.

I guess it was just luck there haven't been any more terrorist attacks in the USA since 9-11?

We are safer because its an election year and the President was successful in his campaign promises and term in office!
