gallery submitters, how do you sort your galleries...
 

... do you put them in folders in row like 0001,0002,0003... so that surfers can guess and come to your next gallery or do you make them random like zz01,000s,28ss so that surfers cant guess and come to your next gallery...

and why ?

if they try to reach 004 and get to a redirecting 404 they think you deleted the gallery, decline your gall -> no hits -> no sales..

Why would a reviewer bother to manually change the url to see what you have in another directory?

Honestly if a reviewer is so picky that they would reject me for something on a page I didn't even submit to them I'd take them out of my submit databse.


I organize my galleries in a logical order

/codeforthesitebeingpromoted/datedcode/index.html

Don't worry about surfers finding more of your galleries. It's just more chances to put a sales pitch infront of them. If they end up at my 404 page that's good too. As long as you protect your directories you should be fine.

why would they try to reach 004 if you didn't submit it? kind of dumb isn't it?
