What size of movies for MGPs is the best?
 

Can anybody help pls? If I want to submit 4 movies what size is the best?

mb or time?

mine are usually 15 seconds and average out to be about 1-2mb mpegs, sometimes they run as low as 700kb though

We run mpg at highest quality/size and the average file is about 40mb's

Shit - Misread the meaning - for submits, 700k to a meg is plenty big enough

I have 2,6 MB and 14 seconds. I think BW will be enormous:-(

4x10 seconds is good for mgp galleries. If you compress it right it shouldn't run to more than 4.5mb

However theres a lot to be said for big clips .ie 2x 30 second clips as used by movie galleries from the likes QMov who edit their shit perfectly (see here): http://www.qmov.net/g5/509L/interracial_sex.htm

Those clips are like mini advertisements and don't give away too much but tease the fuck out of the surfer

The good old days of 250k mpgs are gone :( That was the best size :)

I use 3 times 1MB.

Minimum of 1MB for video files is pretty standard for MGPs. For TGPs that accepts movie galleries it's often less.

3meg 1 min per video :thumbsup

atleast the surfers will like it.

Actually I usually do 1-2 meg per video.
