What type of traffic converts best for paysite?
 

If I use google or yahoo what is a good conv rate? 1-1000?

search engine, type in, exit console off other paysites, members area traffic....it depends on the site and niche on how well it'll do with these traffic sources

On SE targeted traffic, any good sponsor should convert at 1:100.

I've never converted well with exit pop ups but then again I only use them from free sites not my paysite

oh man...exit popups from paysites convert great for me...they are a fantastic form of extra easy cash

tgp traffic, and only the ones from tgp's that make you list 20+ pics and add 1000 new galleries a day

SE targeted traffic is any SE traffic that comes on relevant keywords, including Overture and Adwords.

So if anyone comes on your hardcore site looking for "free gay pictures", that's bad.

But if he's looking for "best hardcore site", then your convesrions will rock.

Besides SE traffic, your best bet would be to find someone that sold some targeted, clicked traffic and maybe even offered custom text and banner links.

yup a few years ago I got a ton of google traffic for "Free Tawnee Stone pictures" and that was terible traffic but yeah other keywords that aren't "free pictures..." are money in the bank..

it depends on the processors!
who owns them and redirecting your traffic and generally fucking you around..

then you look at ratios,tours, chargebacks
etc.. I had a processer trying to hide the chargebacks from me to keep me on with them as long as possible.. tricky pricks..

email other paysites similar to yours and ask to buy their exit traffic...or maybe have them put up your referral link and they will promote you through their exits.

But even on this traffic you may sell some "free" AVS like SexKey or FreeNetPass.

The biggest thing in SE is that this surfers are not "experienced" surfers, and can be tricked easilly. :)

I had a flood of free crap from some of my pages that hit the index on a few SE's but it was useless or it might have been the sponsor just screwing me?

middle ground traffic isn't to hard to get it's the sponsor's opening there wallet's and paying is the hardest thing to over come.. if your paying long term post your programs.. I've tried tons but they don't pay long and steady enough to stay on and aren't reliable.,

yeah don't get me wrong, I love the word FREE.. I use it at the bottum of every TGP I make "Click here now to see more of xxxx for FREE!" and that is a better way then saying "Take her tour" but since I don't do much with AVS the FREE word in SE traffic isn't doing me much good

for me, type in works the best. And 1:1000 can be a good ratio.. it all depends. for some traffic 1:100 is crappy, and for some 1:1000 is amazing.

tgp traffic converts the best for my extreme paysite. Converts even better than ppc search engine traffic.

I would say offline marketing makes the best results. Magazine adds, etc...You can find a magazine which covers your niche and you will be surprised. Unexperiended surfers, who dont know your competitors are gold worth. :)
