winmx is good, ive been using it for a very long time.. by the time i want a song, its on there and i get it pretty fast... ive never dealt with any 'fake' mp3s on winmx...

I like shareaza the best. Also use peer guardian to stop most of the bots from scanning you and from connecting to the fake servers.

ive never heard of WinMX even. But ive heard of CuteMX. Some file trading problem made by CuteFTP, but they stopped producing it

iTunes rocks. At $.99 cents a song, I would hope you can afford it.

WinMX is not as good as Kazaa, and Kazaa is not as good as Bittorrent or DC.

no just cable but the newsgroups server is like 5 minutes from my house...songs usually take under 10 seconds and even dvd-image movies dont take very long considering the size
