Other WM Boards, Crap, Or Gold? What do you think?
 

Hey there Everyone,


Just curious as to how the members of the GOFUCKYOURSELF board see things on the other boards. I have been getting less and less out of the boards these days. Seems the only people who post anything of real industry interest anymore are people who have to actually work for a living, as opposed to those of us like skitz who seems to post so often that, that must be his job!

Sometimes, I head off to the boards to find interesting stuff and what I see makes me wanna puke for one reason or another, such as dig, and his " superbabe! " Like we care! Well, I don't, just clutters up the fuckin board in my eyes.

Of course theres more....

Such as the return of Serge, is it a good thing that he is posting again, or is the average webmaster tired of his useless information and the toadies worshipping his every word.

Or maybe the Y-not Board, which has some nice people posting but it seems every time I tune in there every one is back patting and kissing ass to everyone else!
Not that this is bad, but EVERY time I head over there, it seems people are more interested in ego boosting than business.


Thats enough to start, I think myself and the rest of the webmasters here have some interesting thoughts on the current and past state of the boards and the people who post to them, I know I would like to hear some..,.

Beside GFY, I frequent the PC and AWI boards. The infopop-driven boards are in my view superior to the non-threaded ones. These latter are a mess and very hard to follow and read. I don't understand why they are run like that, using a format from the Web's early days.

There are 3 main boards.. This one, the porncity one, and then the adultwebmasterinfo one..

This one in my opinion is the best of the 3.. Adultwebmaster info 2nd..

If you look at the tone and the atmosphere here it is much more inviting and topics are talked about with-out the spam that exists on the other boards.. Have you seen the fights and spam over a simple discussion over dialers on the other boards?.. Its just a headache over there..

Here we can have fun, be serious, and answer alomost any question. We got big webmasters, newbies, content providers, paysite owners, and even famous actors like Dank here at the GFY board..

Give this board a chance, and I promise you will find this one to be the best.

The main prob with other boards is you post and go back in a couple days and (maybe) one or 2 people replied.

Here I'll go to reply to someone and while I'm typing 2 or 3 other people will reply.

Also this board believes in freedom of speech. Even when someone's bashing AP or lying we can read it if we want to. That shit matters.

GFY & PC are the best. Wolfshade's is good but needs more posts, AWI is a den of thieves for the most part, netpond is run by someone I wouldn't be caught dead near. http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif

condom and Ynot were great in their day and the format was fine. the problem now is its too hard to keep all these newbies names strait so then you can't keep their posts strait. http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif Threaded is better now. http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif

topniche, netsurprise, & Ynot spend most of thier time asskissing. http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif (not that there's anything wrong with asskissing, I just can't take a steady diet of it. I like to say "gofuckyourself" too much

What makes a good bbs is the owners, moderators & the visitors. If you go to a board only to get flamed, the board sucks no doubt about it. Also, easy to navigate board is a winner too. PornCity & GFY both are easy to read & navigate, have helpful webmasters/moderators/owners & don't mind people shooting the breeze. Wolfshade's bbs is good but since the new color scheme went up, it's very hard to read. Ynot & those that have the scrolling board just sucks. Your message may be #500 in just two hours. In GFY, at least you can find the post.

Lol! That is exactly one of my pet peeves with some of the other boards...
You can only get so far with all the asskissing before you are apt to puke your guts out. Looking for business, and find everybody rubbing everyone elses dick.
Even dusty is on the other board, snuggling up to serge right now, practically on his knees. Why is that? Because Dusty gets flamed left and right by mike ai

other than that, PC and ARS. used to read netpond but didnt like the layout, and as said above, having to read all the messages
