Any luck with these "4free" programs??
 

I have recently been seeing banners for these new free types of sites where all you enter is your email address to become a member. It seems like these banners are on every other gallery page! I added a few to my page but they're not doing too well. Is anyone having good luck with these programs?

In my experience. They seemed to work really well for about 2 weeks..then died off...weird?

I personally don't think any of the "4 free" programs work all that well. People are suspicious of anything that's for free. I make a couple extra bucks of off Pink 4 Free each month, but usually only enough to buy a pack of smokes.

Im suprised the dialer haters havent bashed this one yet.. Maybe they arent able to figure out how the "free programs" make money..

More power to em.. And I agree that program is a great one.. The best thing to do is try a bunch, everyones traffic is different.

yeah...join4free is the one I am using...and I noticed the same thing. They work for a few weeks then mysteriously seem to die down. This could be due to the fact that many of my hits come from return visitors...or maybe just plain old shaving of stats. I'm not pointing any fingers or anything though :-)

No..they are not that sucessfull.

Join 4 Free, is a great program, but i think it's overexposed and every surfer has seen it by now...

I like FreeNetPass better, they pay $15 for every free join, only the surfer has to give his creditcard number...

if the name is over exposed then dont mention the name, just put up 'XXX Teen Hardcore' and send them to a 4free site, the proggy rules are very flexable.
using banners sends less hits but more sig-up's, using text links sends mor hits but gets less signs.

Well they were all good about 6 mos ago or so now the conversion rates are real crappy.

I just put up join4free as an exit console. That is not working for shit. I am going to try the opt-in email instead and see if that does any better. I sent them 600 hits today - and not one join.

Agreed - I haven't given it much time, but I'll let you know if the opt-in works any better. (If they ever return my email)

Join4free is great if you know how to use them correctly. First off, they have referer checking so if you're poping up an exit console, contact them first because it will fail referer checking and your hits won't get counted.

Also, if you think one front end is saturated, try another one. They've got 5 or 6 of them, gay.join4free.com, teens.join4free.com, asians.join4free.com... forget the others.

If it dies down after 2 weeks, it's probably cause you've got a lot of bookmark traffic and they've all seen it before. We all know how important it is to change out your banners frequently.

I am using them and it has been ding well for me so far, I havent noticed a drop at all YET! I tried topcash and they switeched me right before the cut off date.....I dont get one thing, we are sending the traffic, if they cant get the surfer interested enough to join, was is that our problem??? I've found they work well with a text link that tells the surfer that they will have to fill out a form. If they get to the 4Free site and then see that they have to do a little work to get in they just click out.
Cybererotica just came out with one that is doing well for me. I use as many as I can find on my opt-in email lists and they all do well.

I have been using Join4free for some time. Checks always on time, converts well on tgp's and mailers and their support is great. Especially from RRRed.

I was skeptical at first about the join4free programs so before I signed on as a webmaster I joined as a surfer. Exactly what they promised and they dont abuse the surfers either causing them to get pissed at me!

I've been using it for about three weeks, replacing another sponsor at the bottom of my galleries. It's outperforming the old one quickly.

I am soooooo sorry I haven't had a chance to get to this thread. For the past two days I've spent day and night trying to catch up on my email from moving and the Pheonix gathering.

Buckshot really said it best. If you use the program properly, there is no reason why you can't make as much if not MUCH more money than pay per sign up proggies. We do have a feature in place which requires you to manually add your domains. All subfolders and subpages beneath will be credited. BUT take note that this doesn't apply to third level domains such as "thirdlevel.yourdomain.com"

If you want to use the program on exit consoles or double optin email lists you MUST contact me or any of our other staff FIRST. We are able to work with you in doing this as long as you are not promoting any illegal crap and you can remain ethical.

We pay $1.00 per signup and if you can send over 100 signups a day, you will be paid $1.15 There is no need to contact us to have this set up. It's all automatic. Don't forget that we also pay 10% for any webmasters you refer. Please use the referral link on your page properly when you do this. I've seen over and over again someone icqing the link to their buddy and getting no credit. Alot of our webmasters make money every day without even sending traffic directly to Join4free. The referrals alone can be tremendous.

Now in regards to oversaturation, I have to disagree. We have recently put up a brand new front end and conversions are better than ever. When you rely soley on bookmark traffic what do you expect? If you think about it, all it means is they've already signed up so when you notice the drop off, you know you've hit up your majority already. There are lots of ways to get new traffic. Or you can always freshen things up by promoting one of our other niche sites. Asians, amateurs, lesbians, teens, gay, and there's more coming in the near future.

I don't see anything to bash. We have no surprises like a big fat phone bill waiting around the corner for the surfer. It's actually a good idea to voice that there are no dialer charges when you are using the word "free" in your speel. Surfers who have been burned before might shy away if you don't clarify. Honest descriptions work best. Of course text is better than banners but blind linking just isn't going to work very well. Explain the steps to signing up (sign up yourself to check it out) and make sure they understand that they have to click the link in the email they will receive to get into the members area.

Bake, to answer your question, Yes we do have a daily gallery... in our promotional email we send. Which brings me to explain our deductions. If you have a surfer that cancels their account within two weeks, you will receive a deduction. This prevents webmaster cheating and helps us pay out as high as we do. Therefore, it is NOT a great idea to tell your surfers that there are 45 bazillion 2 hour movies inside and all that crap.

As a matter of fact, it has been proven lately that it really helps deduction ratios to let your surfers know that there is enough live feed action and updated galleries inside to last them for weeks.Top it off by telling them that we have staff that works long hours every day searching and testing all the programs on the net, in order to provide you with the largest and highest quality paysites on the net by email. Mention that every week or two there's something new and different that just blows you away every time you check your mail. Free pics to boot!
