OK, this is a wierd one, but people who mispronounce the word "nuclear."
Also, people who think its really posh and hip and cultured to use French words like "tres" and then butcher them completely or flat out use the wrong word..
I was in the OC the other day and this woman who found out I was French said to a friend of mine, "How nice for you, you can practice your Francois " in this heinous accent.
I wanted to shake her and say that Francois is my grandfather's name, and Francais is the word she was looking for, but I would have been wasting my breath.
I better stop there or I could go on forever.
