What do you think about this payment option on a paysite?
 

Offer the surfer this, do you think they'd go for it?

6 monthly payments of $30.00 or whatever you want to charge in exchange for a lifetime membership.

I think it would do well because most surfers just see the $30 and arent smart enough to multiply by 6. Plus recurring will be good because before joining they say hey i know this will last for 6 months and I have a lifetime membership.

i guess poeple dont think much of it from the replies.

would we have to give them a "free gift valued at over $100". Maybe like a potato peeler or a onion chopper?

Not sure if that has been done before, it might have been..but in this industry, anything is worth a shot.

I personally wouldn't buy it. I tend to get tired of a site after a month.

But, there are people out there who would. And I bet it would work rather well.

It would seem worth an experiment I think.
The downside is that you would need like 12 months to judge the results.
