Nah man early Def Leppard was just pure rock.... later def was glam rock and poison...well the were the total epitome of a hair band so they don't count when talking about early Def Leppard.

I love Def Leppard and I love hair metal. woohoo. They play Def Leppard constantly on the radio stations here in Vegas.

That's why I mentionned "Wanna be" in my comment. I know they were not. It was crap commercial stuff.

I saw Def Leppard open for Pat Travers at the Oakland Auditorium in late 1980. It was my first hard rock concert. I was twelve years old. Wow... that was a long time ago.
