No. Speakers are turned down to null but I surf the net that way. I turn on my stereo on for radio or CDs. If I want to listen to net stuff, my laptop is hooked up to some good speakers. :)

And I guess you just love the Window's boot up noise that without putting your speakers to null you cannot avoid. :1orglaugh

Heh, haven't heard a bootup noise for a couple of years. Can't remember if I turned it off or if the scheme I'm using doesn't have one.

Nope, not that big of a deal. And I actually like the GigaCash one. I end up mouseing over that one like 10 times in a row.:thumbsup
