Remember Akira BBS?

I knew most everyone on that toplist you see there on the Akira top uploaders. Wonder whatever happened to it and the owner? Akira was a world reknowned bbs for always gettings its '0 day warez' before most everyone else. I know there used to be a big one in New York ( can't remember the name now ), Gods Realm and a few others. As for Toronto bbses I remember also Machu Picchu with Holly Header, Arrested Development which was a 4 node bbs, Atlantis an 8 node bbs and others. If you were part of the 'scene' share your experiences here. I remember wanting to be a part of RiSC (warez couriers). I remember some bbses had amiga software, others PCBoard, Telegard, Wildcat and Renegade software.

Also "Doors" for anyone that remembers them like Legend of the Red Dragon, Usurper, Trade Wars and many others.
