Busted speeding twice in 24 hours!
 

I'm pissed. Come home my holidays and I have two speeding tickets and possibly 6 points on my license. I remember one but not the other. One I was doing 67mph on a 70 road. Coz there were roadworks it dropped to a 50 without notice. Ok so I should have known to slow down but still its pissed me off.

The other I was doing 85 in a 70. Defo getting points for that one but the 67 it says I could escape witha caution if I accept it. I hope I do. 6 points on my license means no new car for me!

Thanks but it was two speed cameras which busted me. They have photo/video evidence so I guess I'm pretty fucked.

Damn, that sucks. I didn't know they had videos and shit to catch speeders. I gotta be careful myself, photo enforced intersections are popping up all over my town this week.

Either fight both or try to go to traffic school for both. Since they are at the same time, you may be able to pass thru :winkwink:

I can't go to traffic school. We don't have it in the UK. I also can't fight or else I get banned if they rule against me.

They have videos everywhere at my other houses in california... by the california speedway the amount of cameras in the suburbs is crazy...


Thank GOD, my car is licensed in FLORIDA and I dont have front plates on my car as jesus I'd have atleast 10 tickets because I didnt even know there were cameras till my gf was riding with me one day and I blew through an intersection... (about 10 days after id been there)


There was also once, where I totally missed the light had turned red and went through the intersection and some lady came out in her damn surburban or something and I almost t-boned her doing 65 or so :mad: (my mind was preoccupied about something)

Lucky my car handles well and i swerved hard right and i didnt so much as make a squealing sound with my tires... (i love my car)



Anyways, thank god for only rear licenses plates, a really low car, and a design that obscures the plate without direct view of it.

I used to live in England and now I live in Calfornia - trust me, the amount of cameras here is NOTHING compared to the amount of cameras in the UK.

Where abouts in California, and what car do you drive? 'Cos you sound like you drive like a fucking idiot and I want to know what car to look out for...

So.. why not stop fucking speeding?

not getting caught is about knowing hotspots, think about where the most speeders speed and do not notice, ex. playground zones, construction zones, and in entrances of communities, always take care in these places,

o and if you are speeding and u see a cop on the other side of the road after passing them by dont turn on your brakes, they will see your brake lights knowing u r speeding and pull u over.

Im glad there is almost no cameras here except on the highway :)

sounds like what happened to me when i was 18, got 3 tickets in the same month, 2 within a week. All for speeding :)
