will these free signups translate to paid ones down the road? is this how your stats looked when you first started out with AFF?

I wouldn't think 1 in 50 is very good. Try to presell the traffic better. Be sure to tell your surfers that the registration is completely free, no credit card required, etc.

If you are truly making that kind of money with AFF, why bother whoring them in your sig? Wouldn't it be more intelligent to shut your mouth about your great sponsor so as to not saturate the market with AFF affiliates to compete with you?

They recently started paying recurring..as of a few months ago

where do you find the reccuring figure in the stats? I read the tos and it says 35% paid on rebills but I don't see anything from the new system yet.

I've always wondered what the retention ratio would be. Anyone have some figures?

They did not work well for me.. I sent them around 50k of hits per day and it had to be allot of cash they had to pay in the end of the period but instead they replaced the program type to per sign up and not per click and i lost much cash around 30% of it.

Important: if your traffic produces less than 1 FREE signup in 20 visitors, or 1 paying membership in 25 FREE signups, your account may be converted into a "percentage payout" account at anytime after you've sent 500 uniques or 3 days. We had to do this to keep sites from cheating or putting our banners in "inappropriate" sites. This has only affected less than 3% of our affiliates who are paid on a cost per click.

Guess you and me are in those 3%, check your stats again in 3 month time and do the numbers then, you won't be disapointed.
