Congress tied 210-210 on renewing the Patriot Act (it comes up for renewal every year). A tie means this anti-constitutional legislation continues police state powers to the Christian military government.

So 420 individuals tied exactly at 50%? What are the odds of that happening! (Unless they see the results as they vote?)

Why is it then that both Democrats and Republicans joined together to attempt to defeat the bill? Alot of people find this law offensive.

If you read the story, Republican majority left the voting open an additional 20 minutes to convince a small group of Republicans to change their votes in order to pass the bill.
