AVS Is Still Alive!!

Don't believe what you have heard! AVS is still alive and well! I have been sending my AVS traffic to Universalpass.com the last few days and it has been converting like crazy!

Is it me or has anyone else been experiencing a sharp increase in sales ratios with AVS traffic?

bopha 07-08-2004 01:18 PM

all is great with us. We haven't had any trouble.

Depends if you are unflexible and always ready to look at the dark side of things.

I stopped reading AVS boards a long time ago since the sky has been falling for two years.

How do you manage to pay out 120% of your joins?

In your sig.. "Paying 60/60" :winkwink:

if I told you our conversion ratios you would not believe it . . . . I have one affiliate that converted their pay site (processed by CCBill) to an AVS site protected by SPP, and their conversions went from 1:1500 to 1:20.

I think they are happy with the change

Are you serious or kidding? Anyway because I get those questions quite often as well for everyone that does NOT know..

60/60 means 60% of the new joins and 60% of the rebills..

ALso look of the sponsor pays really 50-60 whatever, or if they take ALSO the processor fees...Then sometimes 60/60 may end as 45/45 or even 35/35

Then that paysite must have been shit in the first place. If I had a shitty members area and had terrible rebills, I'd probably be happy to switch to an AVS too.

So she basically switched her paysite to an AVS site and her conversions were near 100 times better, is that what you're trying to tell me? Nothing else changed, just the join/processor page?

a lifetime membership to your site and only $20 one time payout per member? I guess they must have lots of upsells?

I'm supposed to believe that? She went from 1:1500 to 1:20 all because she changed the processor. Who was she processing through before, WebSiteBilling?

JSA Matt 07-08-2004 05:46 PM

when did AVS die? did I miss the memo? :helpme

If you will read above you will see that A) I already said she was processing with CCBill (CCBill EU to be precise), and B) if you read between the lines the person I am talking about responded, and if I was saying something that was not accurate, she would have spoken up.

Actually, up to $30 per signup, and the nice thing about AVS traffic is that it is all qualified as not only being someone that owns a credit card, but someone that is willing to use it to make online purchases of adult products.

FYI, I do not track what my affiliates results are with their upsells.

Yes she did. Actually is was more like 1:1500+ through CCBill.

When they sent out a letter to say they didn't like the word hooker or "cash for sex" mentioned on the site it changed to a SPP site rather than go through the bullshit of changing thousands of pages to conform to the reviewer who didn't like those words....
