why does bottled water taste
different depnding on which bradn you buy
its water it should all taste the same shouldnt it :helpme |
Different brands use different purification processes, plus probably depends on where the water is pulled from.
|
water taste diffrent everywhere. Water is not water if it says water.
|
hey and sometimes it's because they use plastic bottles
|
Water shouldnt have any kind of taste but "Evian" does.. it taste like shit, really!! dont ever buy or drink it!
|
It depends on what kind of hose they were using to fill the bottles.

Most will bitch about gas being 2.50 a gallon.....
.... yet they will pay over 10.00 a gallon buying bottled water.... (in small bottles) .... and water falls from the sky! :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh BIG B |
Aqua finn, taste great when you freeze it. :)

Arrowhead water (sold in AZ at least) tastes AWFUL. So gritty and heavy - yuck!
My favourite is Dasani. It just tastes like tap water. :) |
Evian and Fiji are the 2 best tasting in my opinion. They happen to cost the most too.
Most leave a aftertaste in your mouth after you drink it. But for me both of those taste clean. |
I usually buy gallons. I've noticed that different bottles of the same brand can taste different. As mentioned above, the plastic bottles can affect the taste, especially the longer it is in stock before being sold. Also waters with natural minerals will likely vary in taste as mineral levels ebb and flow (pun intended:glugglug)
Best bottled water I remember ever came from a Louisiana artesian source back when the distributers still delivered glass jugs for water coolers. |
Speaking of water, one of the nastiest things I ever tasted was also from Louisiana. We stopped at a convenience store in an area with high sulfer content in the water and a fountain Coke tasted like it was blended with rotten egg. I've had more than my share of bad fountain drinks but I wasn't able to choke down more than the 2nd swallow of that. Guy at the store said only people passing through noticed it. I know there is no way I would ever adjust to that and can still remember the taste of it clearly to this day:glugglug
