FOX News is such a biased piece of shit of a news station

They gave full time to Bush's campaign speech in NC but kept delaying going to the Kerry Edwards speech and finally just didn't end up showing it at all.

piece of shit of a News station.

Yeah they don't really even make the effort to APPEAR fair and balanced. Sad really what journalism has been sinking to.

KRL 07-07-2004 09:32 AM

Journalism is all about ratings, power and money these days.

We don't know shit about 99% of what really happens in the world because its all filtered and channeled by the media.

The only thing the people have now is the Internet.

liquidmoe 07-07-2004 09:32 AM

Whatever pays the bills. Journalism is big business, dont forget that, you want unbiased opinions you gotta do your research.

ColBigBalls 07-07-2004 09:40 AM

Fox must have oil stock options

sixone 07-07-2004 09:44 AM

I'm at the point where I watch just to get pissed off.

sixone 07-07-2004 09:45 AM

What happened to equal time? I thought they were required to show both speeches?

Jon 07-07-2004 09:46 AM

fuck kerry.

Giorgio_Xo 07-07-2004 09:48 AM

Which explains why Fox News only makes half the revenue of CNN with twice the ratings. No one respects the quality of their reporting.

Rob 07-07-2004 09:50 AM

I like FoxNews. :thumbsup

CNN however. http://www.acidflyers.com/tv/gifs/crazy.gif

What's new? The whole world knows FAUX News is a bunch of subjective closet-gays. Only popular with other closet-gays and faggots

LOL. That is seriously the stupidest thing I have ever read anyone say. Noone respects the quality of reporting? What a joke. Like advertisers give a flying fuck about the reporting if more people are watching.

Oh yeah, go ahead and post some statistics to back of your claims of half the revenue on twice the ratings. Thanks. :1orglaugh

genomega 07-07-2004 10:33 AM

Yes by all means listen to cnn that admited they lied for 7 years while reporting from iraq.

Just listen to npr for all left wing all the time.

I can get alot more recent articles on the subject. Fox averages $10-12 CPM, CNN $18-20. I will go through my media pricing sheets and get you final numbers.

"The Fox News Channel is not perceived as pure news, because it really is no different than talk radio," says Jon Mandel, co-chief executive of Mediacom U.S., a media-buying company. That should translate into lower ad rates, he argues. (Mediacom clients that advertise on Fox News include Staples Inc., Warner Bros. and GlaxoSmithKline PLC.)

genomega 07-07-2004 10:49 AM

They pay for ratings not content.

:)
