This sucks. I thought Trillian was being a bitch, so I downloaded icq lite and tried there, password didn't work, so I went to check my details to get the password mailed to me and my new nickname is "stolen"

Not low at all. I have no idea why it was taken. But it had my business contacts in it, and that's why I'm trying to get it back.

didn't you list a primary email address when you signed up for the ICQ number? you can just reset the pw in that fashion, stolen or no... the primary email *cannot* be changed, ever..

I don't even think they were out to fuck with me; I think it was just some dickhead who thought it would be fun to yank a new username and password. I'm almost willing to bet that they don't know me.
