It looks good... but so did Troy and it sucked.

When seeing the trailer the first thing that came to mind was...I fuckin dont like the costumes...

Same thing I first thought.

I gotta say I thought Troy sucked in the trailers, I really didn't wanna go see it, but I kinda got forced into it by my wife and I ended up really liking it.

King Arthur seems to suck in every aspect judging by the trailers, the costumes, the sfx, the actors and the trailers seem very unorganized for some reason.

All this might just be the result of a poor editor but judging by it, it's gonna SUUUUCK. ;)

I didn't think Troy was that bad.

King Arthur looks good, but I have a feeling it's going to suck. bah whatever, i'm sure i'll like it anyway

Most reviews I read say it's pretty bad - it's supposed to be the "real" story but they had to remove all the blood and grittiness in order NOT to get an R rating in the US.

I can't wait to get the uncensored version - hopefully it will be better.

is Troy worth it?

I think I will probably end up catching it. Often with these movies, even if they suck but they are epic in size it sorta makes up for it. Troy did that, if you weren't into the character struggles and stories you had the epic battle to focus on and that made up for it.

The opposite of that was Gladiator, they put a smaller battle at the start and the rest of it was on Russel Crowe's shoulders and the story to make the movie interesting, which I think it certainly was.

There's no way it can be as good as the old movie "Excalibur". That was pretty much the perfect version of King Arthur.

The guy they have as King Arthur in this new movie just blows. They could replace him with Cuba Gooding Jr. and it wouldn't be much worse.

I hope it will be better than TROY! :thumbsup

I hope its good, cos Kiera Nightly is in it but it's probably crap

I'm actually looking forward to it. I want to see what they did with the story, and hell, I liked Troy too. :thumbsup
